Congratulations to Per for the Best Paper Award of the DESIGN 2026 conference!

We are proud to share that Per Persson Schön received a Best Paper Award at DESIGN 2026, the 19th International Design Conference, held in Cavtat, Croatia and organised by The Design Society.

The awarded paper, “Project complexity and cost escalations in the early design of railway megaprojects”, is co-authored by Per Persson Schön, Claudia Eckert, Adam Mallalieu and Dag Bergsjö. The award recognises the contribution's quality and its relevance to the engineering design community.

The paper will appear in the DESIGN 2026 conference proceedings (indexed in Scopus). A link will be added here once it is available.
