Our team actively took part in the yearly Wingqvist seminar, held on 21 April 2026. The seminar gathered participants from across industry and academia to exchange insights on the future of digital product realization, highlighting both global perspectives and research developments.

Adam's presentation highlighted the complexity of industrial context and presented the foundations and necessary conditions for digital product realization. Researchers, he argued, should include “adoption as a requirement” in the development of new design methods and tools.

Pauline's presentation discussed what should change in the product development process and what capabilities companies should develop to realize sustainable products. She also showcased how the group is using AI to accelerate the development of tailor-made tools that support decision-making towards sustainability in the critical, early stages of design.
